King mountain is a battle filled that was fought in south Carolina.The two people that were fighting were the american’s and the British.The British wanted to take over america.The american’s and the British fought on king mountain on Oct 7,1780.The British killed 29 people and they wounded  58 people.The american’s killed 290 people and wounded 163 people.The British didn’t take anyone.The american’s took 668 British.the battle was the first major patriot victory to occur after the British invasion Charleston in may 1780.The Americans won the battle of king mountain.
